Linda Cheryl Amos went to be with The Lord, June 18, 2018 after a long struggle with health challenges. She was born December 12, 1943, in Burkburnett, Texas, to Doris and Wesley Williams. Cheryl was a 7th generation Texan. She was an accomplished school teacher, artist and poet, loving mother and wife. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Mark Amos, sons Trent and Jason Hotman and daughter, Amy Hughey. She was blessed with six wonderful grandchildren.
Cheryl was known for giving unusual gifts at Christmas. Her family and friends always looked forward to receiving them and knew they were all given from the heart. She loved the Lord Jesus and was a selfless example of His love.
Cheryl’s life will be celebrated in the “Chapel of the Chimes” located at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134, Phone: 817-293-1350, on Saturday, June 23rd; 10 AM viewing; 11 AM-12 PM Chapel services with brief gravesite service to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her favorite charity, Smile Train (smiletrain.org). She will be sorely missed.
