Linda Easter

Linda LuRae Easter, 66, passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Fort Worth, 5001 NE Loop 820, Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Easter was born to Charles and Frances Ellefson on Aug. 5, 1946, in Hampton, Iowa, and grew up in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Linda was a registered nurse for over 20 years, working in many departments such as emergency, critical care and recovery. She loved many things about her life, including her Lord, her family and her weekly dinners with her grandbabies. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, and her brother, Verlyn, and her parents, Charles and Frances. Survivors: Son, Matt and his wife, Ruth Ellen, of Keller; daughter, Melissa of Haslet; stepson, David and his wife Lisa, of Roxbury, Conn.; stepdaughter, Deborah Rizzo and her husband, Michael, of Bethel, Conn.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
