Linda was a blessing and a friend to Crowley and anyone she came in contact with. Her friends at Doug Martin's Allstate will miss her kind smile. Our prayers are with Billy and the entire family.

All weekend, two particular memories of Linda kept replaying. During our first Lord’s Acre after we moved to Crowey, I helped in the kitchen. Linda asked if she could have Rose(a fourth grader then) for the day. She wanted to spoil her, and that she did! Rose discovered the goodies in the country store, Linda got her new trinkets, she had her fall picture taken, and when Rose was losing the bid on her silent auction item and I was not going any higher, Linda was willing to go higher. Rose has never missed a Lord’s Acre since. I cannot imagine what it will be like without Linda being there this year.

Another time that I remember was at an UMW fashion show and luncheon. It was not just any fashion show. Rose and I made our outfits and participated because Linda asked us to. It was really hard to ever turn her down. At the show, she presented Devan and Rose with stuffed animals and necklaces. That is just who she was. She always thought of the details that would mean something to someone else. ❤️

Linda you were an example of love in action. You are missed terribly! Thank you for your handwritten notes and your love.

Blessings to Linda’s precious family. 🌹

Gosh how I will miss seeing Linda in the choir and see her lovely smile when I visit FUMC when I am back in town. Growing up seeing her in Sunday School and church each week was such a pleasure. She made everyone feel so special and so loved. She was a perfect reflection of Christian love! I remember so many times she wrote the perfect little poem about whatever occasion whether it be Vacation Bible School or Lord's Acre.

Liz, Mary and Mr. Hutchings, I know you are celebrating the life of your Mom and wife but I also know you miss her tremendously, you are in my thoughts and prayers..
