Linnie Johnson was called home on October 3, 2017. Linnie was born June 11, 1941, in Hamlin, TX and a longtime resident of Crowley. He attended Hamlin High School and Texas Christian University. Linnie worked at Southwestern Bell as a Switch Technician for 31 years. The loves of his life were his wife, children, grandchildren, and service to his church. He was preceded in death by parents, CW, Sr. and Ollie Johnson, as well as three brothers; C.W, Jr., Stanley, Harold, and one sister, Sarah. Survivors include: Wife of 56 years, Linda Johnson; daughter, Rebecca and husband, Tim; son, Billy and wife, Irma; brothers, Tommy and wife, Faye, Don, and sister, Nellie. Linnie’s legacy includes 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many brothers and sisters in Christ.
