Lloyd Franklin Sr.

Born on January 30, 1959, in San Angelo, TX., Lloyd was the child of John Henry Griner, Sr., and Robbie Marie Norris.

Lloyd grew up and was baptized at Saint Paul Baptist Church in San Angelo, Texas. After he moved to Fort Worth, Texas with his identical twin, Floyd and his wife Tanga, who were also his caregivers until his passing, he would often attend Como First Missionary Baptist Church, until his health decline.

Proceeding him in death are his parents, one brother and four sisters. Those that remain to meet him in the air are his identical twin, Floyd (Tanga) of Fort Worth, Texas, Joann Green, Daisy Wrenette Franklin and Sandra Laverne love all of San Angelo Texas, Joyce Evans (Charlie) of Red Rock, Texas, and John Griner (England) of Austin, Texas. Children: Jim Ford (Demondra), April Howell (John), Lloyd Franklin, Jr., and Kandice Franklin. Seven grandchildren’s, 1 great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Lloyd’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 Crowley Road Fort Worth, Texas, on June 7, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The Funeral will take place at Como First Missionary Baptist Church, 5228 Goodman Ave, Fort Worth, Texas, on June 8, 2026, at 11:00 am.

A Committal Service will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 Crowley Road Fort Worth, Texas, on June 8, 2026.
