Born and raised in Fort Worth, Lori graduated from Paschal High School and went on to earn her degree in American Sign Language from Tarrant County College, where she was a proud member of Phi Theta Kappa. Lori was also an author of two books and found great joy in sharing her words and wisdom with others.
Lori built a career she truly loved in the aerospace industry, working for Adept Fasteners, where her colleagues and customers quickly became a second family. Her dedication, expertise, and warm spirit left an enduring mark on everyone she worked with. For over a decade, Lori’s leadership in Telemarketing and Sales helped propel innovation and excellence. Always the first to arrive—often ensuring the coffee was brewed just right—she embodied professionalism and kindness in equal measure. Her coworkers remember her as a mentor, a friend, and the heartbeat of the office.
Outside of work, Lori lived life with contagious enthusiasm. She had a passion for rock & roll tribute bands (especially ACDC), history in all its forms, collecting treasures, and writing from the heart. If she wasn’t cheering front row at a local show, she might be at an estate sale hunting for hidden gems—or out with her beloved granddaughter Rosanne, metal detector in hand, chasing adventure.
One of Lori’s greatest joys and proudest roles was raising her granddaughter, Rosanne. She poured her heart into giving Rosanne a life filled with love, laughter, and learning. Lori’s home was a place of music, creativity, and encouragement—where curiosity was celebrated and every small moment was made special. Their bond was extraordinary, built on unconditional love and shared wonder, and Rosanne will forever carry her grandmother’s strength, wisdom, and joyful spirit with her.
Above all, Lori loved deeply. Her warmth, generosity, and humor touched countless lives. Whether through a thoughtful note, a heartfelt laugh, or an unexpected act of kindness, she made everyone feel seen and valued.
Lori was preceded in death by her beloved Gigi and Gay Patterson. She is survived by her daughter Heather, her treasured granddaughter Rosanne, her cousin Steve, cousin Karen, and a host of extended family, friends, and coworkers who will carry her spirit forward.
Though Lori has left this world, her light—and her love of rock & roll—will keep playing on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Please join the family for a catered reception to follow the burial.
