Leon was born in Stringtown, OK to Custer and Minnie Chesser on February 25, 1934. He married Dolores Fondren on June 20, 1954 in Frederick, OK. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army.
Leon was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Chesser; parents, Custer and Minnie Chesser; siblings, Jewel Chesser, Anita Pothorst, Charles Chesser, Alma Hayes, and Eleanor Price; and his daughter, Christi Davey.
Leon is survived by his daughter, Vicki Mobberley; siblings, Ollie Price, Dorothy Stokes, Billy Chesser, and James Chesser; grandchildren, Katie Roberts (David), Jacob Mobberley, Robyn Davey; great-grandchildren, Ethan Roberts, Chloe Roberts, and Grayson Roberts; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be mailed to New Hope Fellowship Church, 6410 South Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
