On July 8, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas, Madeline L. Roberts was welcomed into the world. She was loved dearly by her mother, Francine Roberts Nelson, grandmother, Eula Mae Dawson, aunts Sybil Fountain and Francis Boyd and her father Ivory Roberts. Madeline accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age.
Madeline graduated from R.L. Paschal High School in 1972. Madeline met the love of her life Otis Taylor and together they had two children, daughter, LaSybil (Trece) and son, DeOtis (Tootie).
Madeline was a member of the Futurettes where she served the community with a host of community events and functions. Madeline enjoyed cooking and baking. All could rest assure a good meal every Sunday and on all holidays.
Madeline worked at Imperial Fabrics and later began following her passion of working with children. She was employed by FWISD until she retired, where she was a dedicated para-educator. Madeline worked with children with special needs and loved helping all children.
Family meant everything to Madeline. She deeply loved her children, grandsons, and great grandson. Her love, care, protection, and kindness will be carried on forever. Madeline will be greatly missed.
Madeline is survived by daughter, LaSybil Taylor Campbell, son, DeOtis Taylor, grandsons, Daeron Campbell and Zaylan Taylor, great-grandson, Jayden Campbell, son-in-law, Kittrell Campbell, Jr, brothers, Rev. Michael Roberts (Vicky), Kevin Roberts (LaTasha), and a host of family members and friends.
