Margaret Lynne Malson

Margaret Lynne Malson was born on January 30, 1954, to William and Doris (Thomas) Akers in Casper, Wyoming. Margaret's father worked for Conoco Oil, so her childhood was spent moving all over the world.

Margaret was united in marriage to Charles Malson on April 3, 1980 in Lafayette, Louisiana. They were blessed with two children, Joshua and David. Margaret worked for Walmart for 15+ years.

Margaret enjoyed photography, accumulating quite a collection of naturescape and wildflowers, along with a multitude of family photos. She was an accomplished cook! Nobody ever left her home hungry or unsatisfied. She was an avid reader and collected numerous books. Margaret loved her family and grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents William and Doris Akers; brother Bill Akers and granddaughter Naomi Malson.

Margaret is survived by her husband Charles Malson of 46 years, son Joshua Malson and his wife Jessica, David Malson and his wife Elisha, 14 grandchildren, brothers Phillip Akers and John Akers and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Lifepointe Church: 120 South Crowley Road Fort Worth, TX with a visitation prior to services beginning at 10:00 AM.

The burial will take place on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Laurel Land Memorial Park: 7100 Crowley Road Fort Worth, TX.
