

Margaret W. Young passed away on Friday. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, from 6-8 pm at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday at Handley Baptist Church with interment to follow at Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.
She was born on March 9, 1929 to Bufford and Willie Mae Webb in Denton County, TX. She was married to her devoted husband, Willard L. Young for 66 years.
She retired from Southwestern Bell where she worked as a supervisor and manager. She was instrumental in the founding of Cornerstone Assistance Network, an agency dedicated to connecting needy families of Tarrant County with church and business services and assistance. She assisted founding the local Christian Women's Job Corp, a national organization that strives to equip women and men, in a Christian context, for life and employment and engages each participant in a weekly Bible study and pairs him or her with a mentor for encouragement and accountability. Her dedication to the service of others was evident throughout her life. She was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was predeceased by her parents, grandson Eric J. Young, and 8 siblings.
Suvivors: Husband: Willard L. Young; sons: Richard E. Young (Linda), Quentin Young (Tammie), and Robert L. Young (Michelle); one grandson; two great-granddaughters and one great-grandson; sister: Joyce Moore; and numerous other family and friends who will miss her.
She lived her life in service for the Lord.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Handley Baptist Church.
