Margie Ann Mead entered into eternal rest at the age of 78 on August 21, 2020. Margie was born on September 16, 1941 in Paris, Texas to the late Earl and Opal Stover. Margie was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 40 years, Roy B. Mead and her daughter, Debra Ann Ware as well as 5 sisters and 4 brothers.
Margie was a vibrant woman who was dedicated to her family and church, Tabernacle Baptist Church of Rendon. She could often be found preparing meals in the church kitchen, assisting with the youth camp and being of service to her Lord. She enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid deer hunter, including last deer season. She loved to fish and being with her family in all activities. Margie belonged to several bowling leagues in her younger years.
Margie is survived by her sons Walter Mead and his wife Margaret, and Jackie Mead and his wife Teresa; along with ten grandchildren Kristi Mead, Kevin Mead, Roy Mead, Juanita Mead, Leo Rogers, Brooks Ware, Stuart Ware, Randy Lloyd Brittain, Wendy Ware and Gerald Charping. Margie had 18 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter on the way. Margie has one surviving brother, Donald Stover and wife Connie that she enjoyed spending time with. There are so many loving family members, blood and adopted who will cherish her memory that we are not able to list them all.
