She leaves a legacy of treasured memories, love, faith, and strength to be forever with those who loved her and knew her.
A woman of uncompromising faith, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Margie left this
world for her eternal home with Jesus and her loved ones that went before her on February 28, 2024, at the age of 94.
Margie Price was born on September 26, 1929 in Annona, Texas, to her loving parents, Claude and Edna Davidson, who
instilled the values of family, hard work, truth, and faith.
After finishing high school, she moved from East Texas to Fort Worth to attend business school and find employment. In Fort
Worth, she met and married Elwood Price. She worked for Safeway on Hemphill street in Fort Worth for thirty three years.
During that time, Margie raised her two girls, whom she loved beyond measure, Helen and Deborah, and was a long time
member of Worth Baptist Church. Upon retirement, Margie dedicated herself to her family, particularly her great grandchildren,
showering them in love and joyfully teaching them the values she held dear.
Margie loved her family greatly, her church family, and working in her beautiful yard. She was not a professional gardener - she
was even better. Her yard produced vibrant colors and fragrances year-round. It was one of many areas where Margie’s
meticulousness, diligence, and spirit of excellence shined. She was known for her strength, grit, and quick sense of humor. If
life handed her lemons she found a way to make lemonade.
She loved to play dominoes and “42” was her chance to show her family just how good she was, just don’t accidentally bump
the table. Margie was a life long learner that loved to read, work crossword puzzles, and participate in anything that
challenged her brain. She loved pretty piano playing, old hymns, and the teachings of her pastors Dr. Raymond Barber, Dr.
Willie Weaver, and Pastor Tyler Gillit at Worth Baptist Church.
Margie is proceeded in death by her parents Claude and Edna Davidson, her daughter Deborah Deguchi, and her siblings
Bonnie Storey, Rexene Storey, Travis Davidson, Evalena Peacock, Christine Seggerman, and John Neal Davidson.
Margie is survived by her daughter Helen Moore and son in law Danny; brother James Davidson and wife Velma; her
grandchildren Theresa Paschall (Kip), Cindy Menchaca (Mark), Marsha George (Keith), Melissa Blackwood, Arthur Lee
Blackwood II; her great grandchildren Colton George, Gabriel Paschall (Tristan), Brittany Menchaca, Nicholette Menchaca,
Alexandria Edwards, Grace Paschall, and Ryleigh Foster; her on the way great-great granddaughter Emersyn June Paschall.
She also leaves cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and friends whom she loved dearly.
Margie Irene Price’s life was a remarkable example of unwavering faith, bountiful love, and resilience - a heritage that will
continue to impact and be carried on with those who were blessed to belong to her, or know her. In lieu of flowers, the family
request contributions to be made to Worth Baptist Church in Memory of Margie Price https://www.worthbc.org/give
