Margore Blair was born August 18, 1957 in Kerens, Texas to the parentage of Roy Jackson and Clarinda Martin. She was the baby girl of her eight siblings. She grew up in Fort Worth, Texas where she attended Morning Side Elementary and Junior High and Paul Lawrence Dunbar High, graduating in the class of 1976. Margore was very adventurous and loved life. She decided to move to Austin, Texas after years later in 1980, leaving her family behind. She was hired at Motorola and worked there for 17, years. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing pool, she was so good at it that she joined a professional pool league team where traveled and was very successful at winning tournaments. After 17 years of living away from her family she moved back to Fort Worth in 1997 and started working for the Star Telegram for several years. During this time period she joined City of Refuge Church where she gave her life to Christ. Margore endured many tragedies and hardships that brought her even more close to Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. Later she met and married her husband of 10 years, William Blair and became an awesome caregiver for her beloved sister Ora until her demise. Margore loved going to church and being an active member. She also cleaned office buildings part time at night and enjoyed scrapping during the day until her health began to fail. On July 12th 2023 she found out that she had a very rae terminal illness and it had metastasized so there was no treatment to cure it. Her response to the devastating news was if God Bless her to live and see her 66th birthday, she would be happy with that. From then on whenever she went to the hospital and the doctors and nurses would review her medical records, they would always say she was a strong woman, for her to still be here with all that was wrong with her and she would respond "I an not going any where until God is ready for me, and when God did bless her to see her birthday and many days after that. She put up a good fight until her body was just to tired and weak to fight any more. On September 26, 2023 Margore Blair left the cares of this world behind and surrendered to the call of God to Glory. Her beautiful smile and unique laughter will forever live in our hearts.
