Fran King, 83, went home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2026. Humanity was enormously enriched because God sent Fran into this crazy world. She was born in El Segundo, California, on September 29, 1942.
She graduated from El Segundo High School, where she was Valedictorian in 1960. In 1968, she moved with her three children to Crowley, Texas. She graduated from Tarrant County College in 1975 with an Associate of Arts in English and attended Texas Christian University (1976-1979) graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
She worked at TCU’s Bright Divinity School (1978-1979) and then started in the Suggestion Department (1980) at Lockheed Martin until she retired in 2005.
Fran was a member of Capstone Church, and her life was defined by her faith, her commitment to her family and, most importantly, her relationship with God. She taught Bible Study on certain Saturdays in a month and was a member of a Prayer Group on Mondays. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as a Proverbs 31 Woman with great character, gentle humbleness, and kind integrity.
