Marie was born June 12, 1934 in Clarendon, TX to Cleo and Mable Martin. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling and trips to casinos. She also enjoyed bowling.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Jack Armstrong Sr.; sons, Jack Armstrong Jr., and Robert Armstrong; parents, Cleo and Mable Martin; brothers, Bobby & Wayne Martin; and great-grandchild, Logan Ratcliffe.
She is survived by her daughter, LaVerne Spracklen of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Kimberly Seals & husband, Geoffrey of Little Elm, TX, Jack Armstrong III of Haltom City, TX, Rodney Armstrong & wife, Nicole of Fort Worth, TX, Brandon Armstrong & wife, Brooke of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Donnie Chesnut & wife, Paige of Rockport, TX, Michael Chesnut & wife, Aimee of Fort Worth, TX, Ryan Spracklen & wife, Chelsea of Waco, TX, Toby Ratcliffe of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Elizabeth Armstrong of Fort Worth, TX; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 and 1 on the way great, great-grandchildren; sister, Retta Newsome of Watauga, TX; along with, nieces, nephews, and beloved family and many friends.
