She was married to Shawn Michael Taylor. Marie-Elena, A.K.A.'Big Bird',A.K.A. 'Catfish Queen', was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, and friend. She came to Florida from New Jersey. Marie was a member of the Ocala Chinese Shar-pei Club & Rescue, known as an animal lover and champion Breeder. Her fishing skills were top notch, though, she always seemed to catch catfish! She traveled anywhere and everywhere adventure would take her. Marie touched the lives of everyone she met with her fun-loving spirit, funny disposition, and wisdom. She finally settled down in Texas, with her husband Shawn. Marie was a one of a kind woman who will be missed and never forgotten.
She is survived by her Husband, Shawn Michael Taylor; Children: Adele-Lois Hart, Bergen William Hart, II and Rachael Marie Hart; Grandchildren: Colette Rachael Judy and Roman Walter Hars; Brothers and sisters: Ronald Thomas, Leroy Thomas, Thomas Thomas, Charles Thomas, Ruth Plante and Julie Demers.
