Mark V. Biar, 91, passed away November 13, 2017. Mark was born February 17, 1926 in Waco to Rev. G. H. and Adalia Biar. He joined the Army at age 17 and served during WWII as part of the Occupational Army in Japan. After discharge he attended Vanderbilt on his G.I. Bill and earned his Chemical Engineering Degree. He married his wife Pearl in 1954 and they moved to Fort Worth where he began his life long career with Texas & Pacific Railroad. He was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church for many years. Mark will be greatly missed. His daughters will especially miss their frustrating defeats to the Domino King. Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl, in 2012. He is survived by daughters, Kathy Fitch, Beth Biar and husband, Mike Drybread, Cindy and husband, Dwight Liner, and Diane and husband, Richard Garritson; grandchildren, Christopher and wife Devyn Stearns, Taylor and husband, Keith Kouba, Jacob and Caleb Fitch, Kenneth and wife Dana Liner; great grandchildren, Beckham Kouba, Dylan and Shelby Liner; and numerous other relatives and friends. The family gives a special thanks to his caregiver family at Heartis Arlington.
