Martha was born in Hillsboro. She married Joseph Beal on Sept. 1, 1945. She played piano for gospel singers all over Hill County and many churches in Fort Worth. She loved to play for her Friendship Sunday School Class at Edge Park Methodist. She retired from the Fort Worth ISD where she was cafeteria manager at Wedgwood Junior High where she was known as "Mom Beal." She loved her family and enjoyed all of her grandkids' activities.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Janice Keelin Langston; and son, Stanley Beal.
Survivors: Daughters, Rita Walden and Ilona Mullins (John); daughter-in-law, Shirley Beal; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
