Martha Jewell Henderson, 98, was born in Durango, CO on Dec 27, 1916, and died February 13, 2015 in Ft. Worth, TX. She was raised near Manitou and Snyder, OK and graduated from Shannon Memorial Nursing School in San Angelo, TX in 1942. Her career in nursing was accomplished at the Federal Minimum Security Prison Hospital in the Glen Garden Area of Ft. Worth. In 1947 she married D.D. Henderson. Surviving relatives are nieces and nephews from the families: Adams, Roberts, Henderson, McEwen, Griffiths, and Canafax. She was a loving, sweet, humble, and gracious "Mother" to us all.
