Martha Jean Kaempf
February 27, 1943 – May 6, 2022

Martha Kaempf, 79, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 6, 2022 after a long illness. Martha passed away in her home in Fort Worth, Texas.
Martha worked for Fort Worth ISD in food service as a manager. She retired after almost 30 years of service.
She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, and nana. Martha was outgoing and friendly. She never met a stranger.
She was a devoted Christian and she loved Jesus. She raised her family in the church. She was a mighty prayer warrior and enjoyed entertaining family and friends in her home.
She had a love for all animals. She was a devoted donor to the SPCA. In her lifetime, she owned many dogs, cats, and birds. She loved feeding wild birds and any strays in her neighborhood.
Martha is survived by her daughters, Diana and husband Danny Jackson, Melissa Johnson, Donna Jefferson, and Tammie and husband Chris Marriott; sons, J.D. Kaempf and Billy Jr. and wife Angela Newman; siblings, Tommie Ann and husband Bill Hackler, Patricia and husband Richard Scarbrough; grandchildren, Jacob and wife Ashley Cox, Casey Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Amanda and husband Casey Barrow, Jeremy Kaempf, Jason Kaempf, Rebecca Castillo, Melanie Castillo, Nicole Gipson, Thomas Collins, Michael Collins, Ashley Newman, Brandon Newman, Bradley Newman, Camryn Newman, Cooper Newman, Ireland Dobbins, and Sage Dobbins; and 7 great-grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Kaempf, daughter Doris Hughes, and her parents and siblings.
