Marvin Dewayne Box, 66, was born December 28, 1951 to William Marvin and Willa May Box. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Elizabeth Box. Survived by his wife of 25 years Debbie Box; brother Lloyd Box; sister in law Kathy Busby; children Dewayne Smith wife Shannon , Delaine Carter , Renae Booe and husband Jason, and Mindy Box; grandkids Justin Fox and wife Danielle, Summer Murdoch , Colten Plunk, Donavon Smith, Dillon Booe, Garren Smith, Savannah Stone , Jerret Stone , Brody Booe, and Jon Edmisten-Box; great grandkid Bentley Patterson; and honorary grandkid Caleb Hudson

Marvin (Pop) Box was a dedicated family man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren with all his heart. Thirty years ago he met his second family through the job he loved at Whataburger of Mesquite. He lived life to the fullest and his smile would light up a room. His selflessness for himself putting others first shows the true heart and soul of the man he was. Marvin (Pop) went home to be with the lord November 30, 2018. His wings were ready but our hearts were not.
