Mary Lavern Handyside

Mary L Handyside at death was residing in Louisiana and was a long time resident of Arlington. She was born in Fort Worth Texas on September 22, 1931 to Johnny and Voila Lee of Fort Worth. She had 10 brothers and sisters. She married Brian K. Handyside on August 5, 1950 was married for 48 years until Brian passed. Worked at Southwest Highschool in food services. Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 8911 for 45 years. She was a member of Forest Hill United Methodist church.

She was survived in death by children: Patricia A. Gilmore and husband Harlan Gilmore, Lee Anne Frost and Michael Griffin, and Julie Grace Neumann and husband Tony Neumann. Grandchildren : Josette Carson and husband Glen, Yolanda Alonso and Husband Juan, Angela Rubio and husband Vincent, Samuel Frost, Kimberly Frost, Hattie Hilburn and husband David Hilburn, and Kristopher Luce. 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

A graveside service for Mary will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park - FW, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134. Prior to the graveside service visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Laurel Land FH - Ft Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134.
