Mary, or “Mary Alice” as known to her oldest friends, is a 1979 graduate of Jeff Davis High School in Houston, TX, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Texas Wesleyan University in 2005. Mary continued her education in Catholic leadership at the University of Dallas and was a proud recipient of a Fulbright Japan Immersion Program Scholarship.
Mary grew up in Houston, TX, before moving to Fort Worth in 1987 with her family. After being an accountant for several years, Mary felt called to the vocation of teaching, particularly in Catholic education, which became her second career. Mary served the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth for over 17 years as a teacher and principal at St. George Catholic School and most recently served as the Academic Operations Coordinator for Nolan Catholic High School.
Mary and her husband Eddy lived life to the fullest. They enjoyed coaching their grandkids'
sports teams and attending their school functions and recitals. After spending time in Japan,
Mary continued learning about Asian culture and food. She loved talking about her time there
and educating others about the culture.
