Mary Cathleen "Kay" Ownby Tindel passed from this life December 22, 2017 at the age of 90. Service: 10 am Thursday December 28, 2017 at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 6 pm to 8 pm Wednesday at Laurel Land. Interment Laurel Land Memorial Park. Kay was born to Porter and Edna Ownby on January 26, 1927. She married Henry Tindel on September 17, 1948. Kay was a active member of South Cliff Baptist Church. The last 10 years of her life she lived at Covenant Place in Burleson, Tx. Kay is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister, Faye Robinson. Survivors: Children, Fred (LeAnn), Steve ( Gaye), and Clarissa( Cody); grandchildren, Gayla Lemus,Jay Tindel,Steven Tindel, Jeff Tindel,Amber Stafford,Aaron Stafford, and Allison Stafford; great grandchildren, Julian Lemus, Sophie Lemus, Chloe Tindel, and Ian Tindel .
