Mary loved her family and her church home. She loved gardening, as her yard was beautiful. She was a good cook and baked wonderful strawberry cakes. Mary met and married on April 26, 1947 in Irving, Texas to her husband Robert. They were married for 50 years, until his death in 1997.
Mary is survived by three of her four children Sandra (Bob), Debra (Ray-deceased), and Cary; niece Verna Scott; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband Robert, Sister Helen, daughter Karen, and parents.
Everyone Mary met loved her. Many thanks to all those that called and checked on her during her illness.
A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76148. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM, followed with a burial at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, colleyville, TX 76034.
