Mary Katherine Zinsser

She was born Mary Katherine Hutton on April 3, 1939 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, to parents, William Hutton and Mary Marie Tonkol Hutton.

Mary is survived by her siblings, brothers Richard Hutton and wife, Fran, and William Hutton, both of Beaver Falls, PA, and sisters Wilma Ueblacker of Beaver Falls, PA and Shirley Barcus of Butler, PA, and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

She is also survived by her 4 children, Karen Pannell and husband, Lyndell, of Lake Kiowa, Texas, John Zinsser and wife, Robin, of Richmond, Virginia, Kathy Parr and husband, Blade, of Burleson, Texas and Jeff Zinsser and wife, Kam, of Abilene, Texas.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, whom she deeply loved. Mary had 11 grandchildren- Amy, Timothy, Nicole, Amber, Denim, Abby, Emily, Christian, Joshua, Randy and Cameron, and 14 great grandchildren.

She married her husband, James Zinsser, on June 27, 1959, in New Brighton, PA and they were together for 47 years before his passing in October of 2006.

A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm and her Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Chimes, both at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134. Afterwards, the family will have a small graveside service at Laurel Land Memorial Park where she’ll be laid to rest.
