Maxine was born on December 28, 1942 in San Angelo. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Education from Angelo State University and was a stay at home parent for many years. She taught for over two decades and, following her retirement, home schooled her grandson. Maxine was renowned for her wonderfully loving and funny personality. She was always sweet and considerate to a fault, and her ability to mix-up details of stories made her stories unforgettably funny.
Maxine is survived by her husband Thomas; son Mario and his wife Claire; son Nicolas and his wife Shonta; daughter Annamarie and her husband Lee; seven grandchildren; and her sisters Ida Kozarsky and Hilda Blan and adopted brother Toby. Maxine was preceded in death by her father, Maximo Guerrero; mother, Zoila Guerrero; and sister, Delia.
