I am so sorry to hear of Maxine's passing.  I will always remember her smile and kind words.  The stories and fond memories will stay with us forever.  It was a lovely service for Maxine.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Deacon Tom and the family  during this difficult time.   I will miss Maxine's friendliness, smile and kind words,  from whenever we were sharing time together at St. Rita's.  When  I think of Tom and Maxine, I will always remember how they truly worked together as a strong, faith filled couple, answering God's call for the work He asked them to accomplish.  May our Risen Lord grant comfort and peace to Maxine, Tom and  all their family.

I met Maxine and Tom at St. Rita's.  Maxine was always warm and generous.  She was a wonderful hostess.  The world is a little poorer without her.  She will be greatly missed.

Maxine is a dear friend to our family and all her family.  We had many conversations in our home and theirs while our children grew up.  Fun times memories and events kept us close.  We all helped each other thru church activities. Scriptures studies and prayer meetings .  Laughter was always present .   
We shall miss you Maxine.  Your sweet demeanor. Soft voice  and infectious smile.   Love you dear friend.  Another angel has entered heaven.   PTL.   Eternal life is yours.   Thanks for blessing us with h your love and friendship. 🙏🙏✝️✝️✝️😇😇😇

I’ve known Maxine since Tom was assigned as deacon to St Rita’s. I was blessed to share our faith in our Small Church Community with her  and to attend parties for Tom’s birthday.  I will miss her smile, hugs and wisdom. My prayers are with you, Tom and your family during this time. Well done, faithful servant. Rest in peace Maxine.❤️

Maxine had a heart of gold and a spine of steel. She faced all of life’s challenges (they were numerous and serious) with courage and love. She faced life’s gifts with gratitude and love. I love her dearly and will miss her always. 

God bless our dear brother, Tom, nephews and niece and all the family. Our hearts and prayers are with you all. Maxine was beautiful inside as well as on the outside. We love you all, Ann and Robert.

My husband Bob and I wish to convey our heartfelt felt sympathy to Tom Giovannitti and all the family and friends of that beautiful, loving woman named Maxine.

My name is Linda Mennite Giuliano, and I grew up In Paulsboro, NJ, a block or so from the Giovannitti family home on Mantua Avenue in Paulsboro. I tell you this not to call attention to myself, but to let you know how close a bond I feel to this wonderful family, especially to to Tom’s youngest sister, Ann (or as her family calls her—and sometimes I do, too) Annie.  My mother, Filomena Mennite and Mrs. Giovannitti were good friends. And Annie and I must known each other as babies, because neither of us can remember when we met. And my father, Joseph Mennite, also had great respect and affection for the Giovannitti family.

I regret to say, Tom, that I didn’t know you very well. But I remember you, and, from one of the many times when I was in the Giovannitti home and you were visiting there, I remember the sweetness and kindness of Maxine.

When Annie married she moved to Ohio, and I met another member of a close family, her husband Robert Jensen. And for more than 30 years, Annie and I have never lost touch with each other.

My husband comes from a close family, too, the Giulianos. 

It’s a blessing to grow up in a close family, but when a member of that family passed on, it makes us miss them all the more, especially when it happens suddenly, as it did with Maxine. It can be devastating.

But the one we loved is not really gone. In this Easter season we must remember that our Savior died so we could have a brand new life together with Him.

My husband and I pray that, even in your sorrow, you will find some peace and comfort.
