Jean had a long battle with Alzheimer’s but is resting in peace now. She was born in Ft. Worth, but she moved many times following the love of her life, Joe. They were married for 52 years and she was totally committed to and raised her three children, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her life revolved around her family and we were truly blessed to have been loved by her.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents (George and Bobbie Burney), all of her siblings and her love, Joe Fincher. She is survived by daughter, Linda Dyer and husband Ron. Son’s Brian Akers, Steve Akers, wife Amy, sons Bobbie and Joey. Her son Ron Fincher and wife Kathy, son Ron, Jr and wife Jane. Her second son Randy Fincher and wife Mary Beth and son Matthew.
Viewing will be held at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Home on Friday March 21, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm. A grave side service will be held at Rose Hill cemetery Saturday March 22, 2014 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers please make donations to either St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Alzheimer’s Research.
