Mrs. Melba Magness Workman

Melba was born June 15, 1933, in Honey Grove, TX to Jess Bell and Ollie Whitlock. She was one of four children, graduate of Polytechnic H.S. in Fort Worth, and wife to Ralph Workman since Nov. 23, 1950. Melba worked as an Administrative Professional, retiring from Lockheed Martin in 1996.

She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ. Her hobbies included crocheting, cooking, gardening, and spoiling her grandchildren. Melba was a loving mother and devoted Mimi. She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Workman, sisters Audrey Watson and Daphna Burns, and brother W. J. Bell.

Survivors: daughter Ginger Taylor and husband Joe of Kennedale; son Otis Workman of Fort Worth; grandchildren Emily Erin Taylor, Ben Taylor, and Victoria Short; nieces, nephews and many friends.
