Meredith Jean Cook graduated from Lufkin High School and later attended North Texas College.
Meredith married James W. Cook on October 16, 1959 in Lufkin, Texas.
Meredith worked as an executive advertising sales agent for Fort Worth Star Telegram for many years.She was a member of Susan G. Komen and she had a passion for Global Travel.
Meredith is preceded in death by her daughter, Gina Carol Cook; her brother Ralston Gober; and her grandson Charlie Davis.
Meredith is survived by her husband, James W. Cook; her son James W. Cook Jr.; her daughter-in-law Tracie Cook; her grandchildren Alicia Cook, Meredith Cook, and Jennifer Barrett; her step grandchildren Dallas McEnany and Phillip (Jaclyn) McEnany and a host of relatives and friends.
