I watched Mike's tribute movie today, and I wept. What a kind person. I didn't even know him that well, so if I miss him this much, everybody that knew him well must miss him a lot.

Mike and I grew up together in Oak Forest. We attended the same schools together through High School. We were in the same Sunday school classes at Oaks Christian Church. We were in Boy Scouts Troup 239 together with his brothers George and Danny with his father George as our troop leader. We were not always best of friends. I could be an a..hole and another of his friends mentioned his monumental temper I might sometimes tweak, but I loved him and his family. My deepest regrets and condolences to all in his passing. 

A friend from cub scouts on up in our life in Houston.  That constant smile, an unmistakable laugh backed by a dead serious temper :-)     Mike, I remember endless hours on our bikes riding the streets of Oak Forest where we grew up.  Dumpster diving for electronic junk or anything else interesting.  Your soul touched everyone with whom you had a word !    You are missed !!

I went to school with Mike at TSTI in Waco in the 70s. He was always smiling and never had a negative word about anyone. A big teddy bear who loved people and his family. I have so many good memories of Mike. He was one of a kind and will be truly missed.

Mike, you've been a kindred spirit that joined my path back in '77. Lord, the memories that come flooding back from all of our 'college daze' and beyond. You were one of my groomsmen. You stayed in touch even though we were at times worlds apart. Fare you well brother-mine and I WILL see you again. Love you much...❤

I have worked with Mike at both Motorola and Nokia, and I had learned to value his no-nonsense evaluation of a problem and the best, most economical ways to resolve it.  He was very pleasant to work with, a gentle giant.   In the last few years, the LORD has blessed me with good times eating lunch with him at the Nokia cafeteria almost every work day and discussing many things, including issues at work, food (e.g., the bruised, darkened part of a banana is still edible and shouldn't be cut out), how to keep old cars running (I have a 1991 Toyota Corolla college car that has 372,000 miles and still running on the original motor), and church topics such as missions work.  I will truly miss him and our talks at lunch, but I do have a hope of seeing him again at the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, or at my own passing (whichever comes first).  I pray that the LORD will grant his wife, children, and extended family hope and comfort through this time of loss.

Mike was like a father figure to me. He taught me how to properly cut and slice a turkey over Thanksgiving 2017. He was proud of me, and I could see it in his eyes. This gave me so much strength as it was just so genuine. I am a Harry Potter fan. So while he was in China in the first week of this September, he saw a broomstick, and sent me its picture saying that he found me a Chinese Harry Potter broom. I was so happy to see his funny text; he remembered that I liked Harry Potter, and his gesture meant so much to me. Mike and Livia had made travel plans to come see me this October. I had started started prepping for their visit, already planned my days off and planning their itinerary while they were going to be here. I was so excited and looking forward to meeting them and for our small adventure packed weekend! Thank you Mike for all the time I spent with you, for allowing me in your Machine Shop, for your emails about wood working and new technology, for editing my resume by hand, for using coke cans as markers to make me practice parallel parking, for coming to my graduation, for visiting my lab, for taking me along with you to help working backstage at Church. Thanks for being my dad in the States, and thanks for believing in me. I love you. I will see you soon! Angel wings on you! 

What a wonderful man! He radiated the love of Christ and so much joy! He made a positive difference in the lives of my daughters and I in so many large and small ways. Love and prayers to Livia and the entire family.

My condolences to Mike's family and friends during this difficult time.  I've worked with Mike for most of my career in different capacities.   I always appreciated his willingness to consider new ideas and his diligence and  honesty.   My prayers go out to his loved ones during this difficult time.  God bless you and rest in peace Mike.

I had the pleasure of Knowing Mike from Sagamore Baptist Church.Mike was a Wonderful Man in Christ always helping people in need.Mike fixed my car when I had no one else that would.Thank You Mike Rest In Peace.Till we meet again.

I had the honor and joy of working shoulder-to-shoulder with Mike at Motorola for many years. He was a true mentor to me and those around us. His breadth of knowledge was incredible, but more importantly his genuinely positive spirit filled me and our team with an energy and confidence that we could and would get the job done, no matter what. One of my many fond memories with Mike was enjoying his stuffed jalapeños at a weekend gathering. He was such a light at work and such a delight after work. May God Bless and keep Mike’s family. My condolences to the family and friends of Mike Hajovsky on the loss of a loved one.  I met Mike on several business occasions as part of the TE Connectivity engineering and business team reviews with Nokia Irving.  What struck me about Mike in a positive way was his honesty, infectious smile, knowledge of the business, engineering abilities, and telling it like it is. I admit that I did not know Mike outside of the business environment.  Mostly over the past decade with me pitching technical solutions and new products to his employer and he shooting holes in these ideas (with relevant technical concerns and professional feedback).  I came to respect Mike's perspective from his obvious deep experience solving problems of his past.   A practical person with straight-forward horse sense about things.  As much as he was not an advocate for my ambitions, I respected him and will miss him.

Mike was a mentor.  He was a take you under his wing, and teach you what he knew, expecting nothing in return kinda guy.  I spent my first 3 years out of college under Mike's wing.  He taught me how to design injection molded parts, draft, tolerance analysis, and how to critically think about how something was really going to work in the real world.  Mike made my daughter her first baby rattle, widdled it by hand so the little wooden ball was carved inside the rattle.  My daughter is 12 yrs old now, and I still have that rattle.  Mike gave me my first tool bag, of real functional tools!  He made sure I was equipt and ready to go out into the engineering world full of confidence and readiness.  I will be forever grateful for the impact he had on my life, and I will pay it forward to the next generation of engineers operating with him as my example.  I will miss you Mike, thank you for being such a wonderful person.

Congratulations, Mike, on a life well-lived! I will not speak of you in the past-tense because you are MORE alive today than ever before. I have the privilege of knowing Mike through our work with ISI. He has shown our international students what it means to be a man and what it means to be a man of God.

Yesterday at Church a friend, a Brother in Christ collapsed and died....I was privileged to have gone a mission trip with Mike Hajovsky.
Privileged because Mike showed and radiated his love of Jesus in all he said and did....
Not on a soap box but in just living life. As I look back I think his great receding hairline was a gift from God to give Mike a larger canvas to project that love...I had just joined a Sunday school class Mike was a member of and was excited to reconnect....
Though I am deeply saddened by my Brother’s passing my heart is filled with joy for Mike as he is with his joy and love Jesus...
I so glad you came along

P.S. ....I’ll be wearing the mission T-shirt we wore on Parole de Vie mission to honor Mike in one of his plethora of missions or outreaches for God 

The Asian Christian Academy of India is grieved at this loss. But we are thankful for his life. His ministry in India is remembered with joy by us here. Through his ministry with International Students he has served many students from India. We are thankful for his love for Christ and the people of India. 

Mike and I grew up in Church together. He was such a Gentle Giant with a Sweet Soul! Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family!🙏🏼

I was shocked today to learn that Mike had passed over the weekend. I am a coworker from Nokia who has known Mike for the last eight years. He was always a shining light in our sometimes dull engineering world. I will miss him very much.
