Mickey S. Bowles

Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Altamesa Church of Christ, 4600 Altamesa Boulevard, Fort Worth, Texas, 76133. Interment: Land of Memory Cemetery, Palestine, Texas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.

Mickey was born Dec. 7, 1954 in Duncan, Oklahoma. He was a long time member of Altamesa Church of Christ since 1968. He served as a Deacon, Elder, and various financial administrative roles. Mickey met Patti at Oklahoma Christian University in 1973 where he majored in Business Management, and Patti majored in Elementary Education. They married July 1977. Mickey worked 14 years with Halliburton, Freight Master Division, and 8 years with the successor company, Florida Progress Corporation, where he held various roles including Plant Manager and General Manager of the Quick Car Unit and Vice -President of Materials/Procurement. For the last 8 years Mickey worked for MLS (United Hydraulics, LLC) as Executive Vice President.

Mickey is survived by his wife, Patti Bowles; 2 daughters and their husbands, Whitney L. Carroll (Michael) of Fort Worth, and Courtney R. Meyer (Justin) of Lee's Summit, Missouri; 2 grandchildren; Faith Meyer and Benaiah Meyer, mother, Bea Bowles of Edmond, Oklahoma; and brother, Larry P. Bowles (Cathy) of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
