Mildred Perkins Deodati having passed away in her hundredth year was born in Videlia, Georgia to Aggie "Peggy" Wilkes and William Thurman "Perk" Perkins. She now ends an era, having outlasted her two siblings, her husband and his eight siblings and all their spouses.
Millie was the wife beside her husband of 60 years, Commander Joseph B. Deodati, throughout his naval career and second career in Fort Worth, Texas.
She leaves behind her son Joseph B. Deodati, daughter Debora Rand and husband Jonathan Rand, granddaughters Lauren Deodati and Jessica Rand Hanberry and husband Richard Hanberry, and great grandsons Eli and Ezra Hanberry. She will be missed by her family.
