A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, July 11, 2025 at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mildred was born in Fort Worth to Joseph Riley Daugherty and Della Mae Sherwood Daugherty on June 8, 1940. She went to school at Handley High School. She worked as a administrative assistant for the Federal Aviation Administration for many years. Her favorite musician was Elvis Presley. She enjoyed square dancing and shopping for antiques. One of the greatest thrills of her life was singing as part of the Chancel Choir of First United Methodist Church at Carnegie Hall in New York in 1998.
Mildred is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Della Daugherty, her brothers Alvin Joe “AJ” Daugherty, James Riley Daugherty, Olen Joe Daugherty, Homer Earl Daugherty, and sister Patsy Allene Daugherty Kelly.
Mildred is survived by her sons Randy Barnett (wife Kyoko) and Brian Boe (wife Melinda), and granddaughter Hana Barnett.
