

A Beloved Mother and Grandmother
Minnie M. McCloud was born in Fort Worth, Texas March 21st1940 to Lewis Wright II and Mattie Dixon. Minnie accepted Christ at an early age and continued to love and serve the Lord. Minnie received her high school diploma and graduated valedictorian from Como High School. She went on to marry Vernon McCloud and had five children. Later she became employed by Lockheed Martin and retired after 37 years.
Minnie was kind and loving person who would give you her last. Never met a stranger and she was dearly loved by everyone. Her pastime was playing bingo which she truly loved. Laughter and tears will be shared by family and friends because she was a special person who will not be forgotten.
On Sunday June 9th 2024, Minnie moved from earthly labor to her eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise Evans (sister), Charles Wright (brother), Lewis Wright III (brother) and Donte (grandson).
Those left to cherish her memories: Children, Vernon (Helen), Darryl (Dorothy), Ronald (Ozell), Eric (Deborah) and Monica. 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren one great-great-grandchild, Mildred McElvy (sister) brothers Willie Wright (Lena) and Julian Wright and a host of other relatives and friends.
