Remember when we were getting the house ready for Grandma Donna? I said you had mother-in-law fever and we were trying those no commitment wallhooks where you could just stick them on then take them off. Well, the painting slid down the wall and when we took the hook off, we chipped the drywall. It's being covered by Meaghan's old school project, but I couldn't help but look at it one more time.

The dog theme at the funeral was pretty accurate for you. I remember we went to go visit Grandma and Papa and you three or four strays came up loving on you and you just sat down and started petting all those dang dogs.

When you think of my mother, three things come to mind: She is kind, She has probably too many dogs, and "diet coke is [her] life blood." One final celebration to honor my mom, we choked back a diet coke for you. It was disgusting. We love you mommy.
