Celebration of Life for Mr. Roy Carter, Jr. will be on Thursday, September 14, 2017, 12 Noon Pauline Minor Memorial Chapel Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors. Visitation, Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 12-7 PM at the funeral home. Roy was a retired employee of Bell Helicopter where he worked for 45 years. He was a member of Strangers Rest Baptist Church. He shall forever be remembered in the hearts of his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Lois M. Carter; children, Rosalyn Quigley(Cal), Felecia Brown(Derrick), Jeffery Carter, Sr.(Marie) and Chandra Steel; brothers, Charles Carter(Peggy) and Roy Lee Carter(Paula); sisters, Margaret Washington and Annie Bell Wiley(H.W.); 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and a host of nephew, nieces other relatives and friends.
