

Services for Betty Ann Taylor Farrow will be on Friday, March 29, 2019, 11:00 AM Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 PM Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors on Thursday, March 28, 2019.
Betty Ann Farrow was born in Longview, Texas on February 27, 1949 and departed this life on March 23, 2019. She was surrounded by family and lots of love as she transitioned to her eternal resting place.
Her sense of humor and quick wit helped to earn her the Most Pleasing Personality distinctionher senior year at Dunbar High School. Betty married her high school sweetheart and was a devoted wife to Bunkley for 51 years. Their union produced one son, Donyale.
She had a passion for real estate and earned her broker’s license. Betty went on to renovate and manage a number of rental properties throughout her life. She believed in creating beautiful spaces and had a natural talent for interior design and gardening. Visiting her elegant home meant you were going to be well fed and spoiled. She was a wonderful cook and baker; her most requested desserts were her lemon pound cake, tea cakes, and butterscotch cookies.
Betty embraced the old school way, she used technology sparingly and dreamed of settling into apeaceful, quiet home in the country.
She often prioritized the care of others above her needs and until the passing of her parents, she worked tirelessly to make sure their last years were spent in the comfort of their own home.
Betty is survived by Bunkley Farrow (husband), Donyale Farrow (son), John Taylor (brother), Joyce Fulton (sister), Steven Taylor (brother), Bettie Lue Taylor (sister), Nacole Farrow (daughter in law), Sonya Farrow (daughter in law), six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
