Nadyne McCluskey Perkins, 89, passed away July 13, 2019. She was born on January 28, 1930, to Atlas and Emma Irene McCluskey, in Whitesboro, Texas.

Nadyne was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Marvin Lee Perkins, mother Emma Irene McCluskey, father Atlas McCluskey, and sister Maurice McCluskey Moran. She leaves behind her daughters Marsha Ann Urdiales and husband Robert, and Michelle Williamson; grandchildren Melissa Ann Borders, Amy Renee Crombie and husband Jeff Crombie, Marvin Dale Howard and wife Sarah Howard, Amber Dawn Howard and Sarah Nicole Williamson; as well as eleven great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

She was a devoted Christian and active member of Bridgewood Church of Christ, often helping as Church Secretary, participating in the quilting group and Ladies Bible Class and volunteering anywhere she could be useful. She also worked with COPS (Citizens on Patrol) for 20+ years, and enjoyed her garden.

Visitation will be held on July 17, from 4-8 p.m. at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on July 18, 2019 at 1:00 at Bridgewood Church of Christ. Committal will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park at 3:00, in the Garden of Faith.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hurst Plaza for their wonderful and nurturing care during the past year.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Nadine and Marvin were older than me but both were dear cousins to me. I hope you are all finding comfort knowing she is with Marvin and is in peace.

Nadyne was a wonderful friend to me and I will certainly miss her. We took trips together, played games together, laughed together, cried together. Yes, I am going to miss my friend Nadyne.
