Though I haven’t seen your face much in some time, you and your family were always a piece of me. I remember the very first day I met you like it was today. You’d never seen me before but still smiled that welcoming, beautiful smile. Your warm demeanor always put me and others at ease - it was your way, and so rare - whether we were in person or on the phone. I will always remember Your kindness and faith; I’ve called on both many times during my own darker days. In my mind, You are the embodiment of unconditional love and I will always wish for more people in this world - like you.

I'll miss your notoriously dry sense of humor Nana, I'll never forget how much you loved them Cowboys and watching Nash Bridges with you as a young boy. I love you and miss you terribly.

Penelope wants you to know that she misses you incredibly. You brought so much happiness and fun to our lives. We were lucky to have such a wonderful Nana around to keep us from double dipping in the queso when we would go to Mexican Inn. We love you forever. Missing you always.
