Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel.
Neale was born May 19, 1921, to William Neale and Lydia Johnson Engberg in Racine, Wis. He served in the Navy during World War II in the South Pacific and was past president of the Richland Hills Riding Club. Neale enjoyed golfing, fishing and NASCAR, and he loved attending his grandsons' soccer and football games.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Lou Layman; and brothers, Lawrence and Tom Engberg.
Survivors: Wife, Martha Engberg; daughter, Jo Davis and husband, Gary; son, Bill Engberg; grandchildren, Russ Davis and Drew Davis; brothers, Jim Engberg and wife, Mabel, and Chuck Engberg and wife, Virgene; and sisters, Norma Engberg and Charlene Teresi.
