Nedra was born June 4, 1924 in Alvarado, Texas where she grew up and graduated from Alvarado High School. She then completed a business course and soon after went to work for the Goldstein Brothers Jewelers, a family for whom she loved and worked for almost 30 years.
Nedra met and married a handsome young Air Force corpsman in 1944, and was married for 54 years until he passed away in 1998. They had one daughter, Melinda, and one treasured grandson, John Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norwood H. Prillaman, her brother, Tad Adcock, and her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Watson of Dallas, Texas, her grandson, John T. Watson of Fort Worth, Texas, and special goddaughter, Susan Smith Lee, and her daughter, Sara and Sara's son Ryan.
