

Born on September 23, 1927, in Breckenridge, Texas,Norma, a graduate of Jasper High School, lived in Jasper, Texas for over sixty years, where she and her husband, Marvin Kenneth Hancock, owned and operated Hancock Drug Store in downtown Jasper for many years. In Later years, Norma was the owner of Hancock's Gifts for over twenty-six years. She was a long standing member of the Jasper Church of Christ. He grandchildren brought her great joy, and she enjoyed working at her gift shop and in her beautiful yard. In her last five years, Norma resided in Burleson, Texas where she became an avid fan of the Texas Rangers Baseball Team.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Kenneth Hancock; parents, Vernie Hall Hendry and Harvey Virgil Hendry.
She is survived by daughters, Nancy and husband, John Sloan of Diboll, Texas, Kay Binkley, of Tyler, Texas and Jan and her husband, Ray Nichols of Crowley, Texas; seven grandchildren, Susan and husband, Darren Allman of Colleyville, Texas; Emily Sloan of Houston, Texas, Elizabeth and husband, Brian Bamlett of Cedar Park, Texas, Gary Binkley and wife, Jennifer of Abilene, Texas, Julie Binkley of Tyler Texas, Laura and husband, Bryan Page of Dallas, Texas and Ryan Nichols of Tacoma, Washington; six great grandchildren and her sister, Carol Hendry of Abilene, Texas.
