With deep sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful, beloved mother and friend, Ola Mae Tarpley, who left us on October 19, 2026 at the age of 100. She was a cherished presence in our lives who will be so greatly missed by all who knew her.
Born on February 12, 1926 in Fort Worth, Texas, Ola Mae Tarpley was the child of A.O. and Eva Perkins. Throughout her exemplary life, Ola Mae Tarpley was known through her abiding faith, humanity, steadfast character and love for all her family and friends. She devoted her time and energy throughout her life to the unwavering principles of her faith – a powerful and upright living example, setting the standard for us all in this world.
Ola Mae Tarpley is survived by her son, Raymond J. Tarpley and many more family and friends, now joined in celebrating her wonderful life and steady wisdom.
Ola Mae Tarpley was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Jesse Tarpley and her daughter, Brenda Fay Tarpley.
Our family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Ola Mae Tarpley will live on forever in the hearts of all us whose great privilege it was to know her.
