Ones Augustus Ross IV

Celebration of life: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Home in North Richland Hills, with a friends' gathering at Big Barn BBQ, Smithfield, to follow. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Tuesday in Hope Cemetery in Henrietta. Arrangements are made through Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Home, North Richland Hills, and Davis Funeral Home, Henrietta.

Oney was born Aug. 9, 1959, in Henrietta to Ones and Naomi Ross. He was an Eagle Scout and a 1977 graduate of Richland High school. He also attended Tarrant County College. He worked at numerous restaurants and was currently employed with Newman Construction.

Oney had a zest for life like no other. He was the life of the party. He enjoyed the outdoors, music, drawing and had never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father, Ones A. Ross III.

Survivors: He is survived by his mother, Naomi Ross Weaver and her husband, H.D., of Cottonwood; his sister, Julie Newman and husband, Jimmy, of Justin; nieces, Kate and Emily; nephews, Charlie, Thomas and Trey; and his fiancee, Celeste Bailey and her children, Sonja and Oliver. He also leaves behind a multitude of caring family and dear friends.
