Faye was born in Fort Worth on December 14, 1927. She worked her entire professional career as a bookkeeper for Stripling's Department Store and Ben Hogan AMF.
After spending her entire life as a resident of Fort Worth, Faye recently moved to Sunrise Senior Living in Plano. She was a member of South Park Baptist Church.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Olie McLain; and her husband of 67 years, Robert E. Durham.
Survivors: Twin sister, Mae Mills of Marion, Ark.; and a number of nieces and nephews whom she loved as though they were her own children and grandchildren.
