Oscar Ramon Chavez Jr.

Oscar Chavez Jr. of North Richland Hills, Texas, a beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, was called to his eternal home on Thursday, September, 16th, 2021 at the age of 31. Oscar Jr. (OJ) was preceded in death by his Grandparents Ruben & Dora Jaramillo & Oscar Duron Chavez. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Oscar Sr. and Leticia Chavez, his wife Hailee, children, Madison Lee, Natalee Rae, Caleb Roman, and Leah Renea; his sister, Jessica, her husband, Stephen and nephew, Barrett Taylor; Grandmother Gloria Chavez; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Throughout the years Oscar played numerous sports and enjoyed his high school years as a member of the Richland High School drumline. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR and Fantasy Football fanatic. In recent years he spent his free time playing softball with multiple leagues, making memories with his family and had an unconditional love for his children. He was known to always have a smile on his face and was blessed with the gift of making everyone around him laugh until they cried.

Visitation with closed casket: Monday, September 27th, 2021 from 5pm to 8pm at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel with Rosary beginning at 7pm.

Mass: Tuesday, September 28th, 2021 at 11am at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller.
