Oscar James Wells was born August 4, 1941 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born to the proud parentage of Howard and Emma Dixon Wells. He received his formal education from the Fort Worth Independent School District.
Oscar was a beloved employee of the Ridglea Country Club for many years until retiring.
Oscar married the former Miss Dorothy Brown and shared many loving years together.
It was at an early age in life when Oscar confessed a saving hope in Jesus Christ. He was a devoted member of the Baptist faith.
On Sunday, July 16, 2017, Oscar James Wells surrendered to the call of his Lord and Savior and transitioned from earth to glory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Emma Wells.
Those left to cherish his precious memories are: his loving and devoted wife, Dorothy Faye Wells; children, James Wells (Sandy) and Jerald Wells (LaShonda Holmes); grandchildren, Chelsea Wells, Jessika Wells, Jalicia Wells, Jailyn Wells, Jaide Wells and Chase Wells; great grandchild, Jayce; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
