Graveside service: 2:15 p.m. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation: Noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Pettus.
Survivors: Son, James Pettus and wife, Marianne, of Stuart, Fla.; brother, Howard Mitchell and wife, Betsy, of Graham; niece, Michele Grimsley and husband, Robert; great-niece, Rachel Grimsley; and great-nephew, Ryan Grimsley.
