

Patricia Crowley, 95, of Fort Worth died March 12, 2026, at home with family. Pat was born Oct 3, 1930 in Decatur, Texas and grew up in Corpus Christi. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and later earned her degree from Texas Christian University, studying Art and Art History.
Pat was active in local politics participating in lunch counter sit-ins during the civil rights struggles. She worked in local Democratic politics in Jim Wright’s Fort Worth office and supported many local Democrats through the years. She loved the arts hosting Van Cliburn contestants in her home. She worked at TCU’s art department and at Fort Worth Opera. Her home was always filled with music, art, books, poetry, hope and love.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband George and their daughter Pamala Saenz. She is survived by her son Allen Crowley and his wife Suellen; her grandchildren Michael Saenz, Anna Saenz Bott, Natalya Crowley, Aidan Crowley and her great-grandchildren Katelyn Bott, Milo Saenz, Augie Saenz, and Cynthia Crowley; and her brothers Jack Gibson and Bill Gibson and their families.
